Special Colours
There is a large selection of special colours from which to choose. You can choose almost any colour from the Interpon colour range.
Types of Mesh
There are several different types of mesh, all made for specific purposes. The mesh options for your screens include:
Fly Mesh | This is the most common type of mesh. It is used as standard in our Fly Screens, Diamond Grille Screens and colonial cast screens. It is made of fibre glass. It is very soft and flexible, it has a tight weave, and will not rust, rot or corrode. |
Paw Proof Mesh | A stronger, thicker mesh that gives a little. It is ideal for families with pets or in high traffic areas. |
Aluminium Mesh | This mesh is a rigid, stronger mesh. It can still be cut with a stanley knife but not as easily as fibreglass mesh. |
Sandfly Mesh | Sandfly mesh has a smaller aperture to ensure those tiny, pesty bugs stay out too! |
DVA One Way Mesh | This is a privacy mesh used in a security window or door frame. It is not considered to be a security product. It is often used in conjunction with the diamond grille, or the colonial cast panel for one way vision on front screen doors. It allows you to see out, but reduces the visibility into your house from the outside. |
Diamond Grille | The Diamond Grille made of aluminium and is 7mm thick. It is corrosion resistant. The grille fits into a channel in the aluminium frame and is pop riveted at regular intervals to secure it in place. It is normally used with fibre glass fly mesh for a value for money, reliable product. |
INVISI-GARD | INVISI-GARD uses a 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh that is pre-treated for corrosion resistance and then powder coated. It is an attractive security solution that allows clear views and will last for years to come.
With a 1.6mm aperture and made of stainless steel, this product rates for bush fires. |
Triple Lock
The Triple Lock is an option on any hinged or sliding security door. Having 3 locking points on your screen door provides extra resistance from intruders. We use Whitco’s Leichhardt Sliding Security Door Lock and Tasman Mk III Hinged Security Door Lock. On both the hinged and sliding door locks, the snib activates all three locking points. The hinged door lock has a dual select feature which enables a selection of either privacy locking of deadlocking. The Triple Lock comes as standard on INVISI-GARD screen doors. |
Pet Door
The Pet Door can be installed into a diamond grille or INVISI-GARD screen door or in a fly screen with a support rail. Pet doors come in 3 sizes: Small 240mm high x 190mm wide, Medium 305mm high x 225mm wide and Large 400mm high x 260mm wide. These are the flap opening dimensions. We can retro-fit a pet door into your existing screen door on site or you can bring your door to us and we will fit it in our factory. Please remember Petway Pet Doors are used for convenience whilst you are at home. IMPORTANT: The Petway® pet door may increase risk of theft or damage by an intruder or unwanted animal. The product is not to be fitted on any doors leading to a swimming pool. |
Snib Guard
The Snib Guard is a perspex plastic guard over the inside of your handle and lock. It is used on diamond grille screens or colonial cast screens so the snib cannot easily be accessed through the fly mesh. |
Auto Closer
Auto closers conveniently close your screen door behind you! |
Sliding Fly Screens
Where double tracks can be installed, sliding fly screens may be an option. These are often used on casement windows. |
